Rhino Conservation | Save the Rhino International
Poaching across the globe has reached an all-time high, devastating wildlife populations and leaving many species struggling to recover. Rhinos are among the most affected. Today, only five species remain on our planet: the Black Rhinoceros, White Rhinoceros, Indian Rhinoceros, Javan Rhinoceros, and Sumatran Rhinoceros.
On March 18, 2018, the world’s largest and only living male Northern White Rhinoceros passed away, leaving just two females behind. Today, four of the five rhino species are listed on the Endangered Species List, and many of these magnificent animals are struggling to survive, clinging to the fragile chance of a future in the wild.
In order to save many of these animals from being further poached to the point where they cannot be brought back, we need to act urgently.
Thank you for supporting the protection and survival of rhinoceroses. Our hope is to ensure that future generations can experience the same joy we have in witnessing some of the largest land mammals on Earth.
